Define the purpose
Tell an installer whether the fence is intended to define a boundary, contain pets or control access. Ask how the proposed mesh openings and gate gaps meet that purpose; the material name alone does not answer it.
Compare the specification
Request mesh height and gauge, coating, post specification and gate hardware in writing. If privacy screening is proposed, ask whether the complete design can support it and whether it is allowed for the property.
Check the whole scope
Include old-fence removal, disposal, terrain changes and utility-locate arrangements. Confirm who checks boundaries and property requirements before work begins.
